Strabuski Strikes Back

*Editor's note this post originally appeared as a comment to Rico's Sue Bird post.

[The Sue Bird Story] is not a female friendly post, actually I would go out on a limb and say this is not a female friendly website, but no previous articles have so explicitly objectified women. Generally speaking there is a glaring indifference to the female fan on this website. I think that as "educated" men you might desire to project yourselves with a touch of class and refinement.

I do understand the male proclivity in engaging in such conversations amongst themselves that degrade and objectify women, but surely it is always in poor taste to conduct such discourses in the presences of mixed audiences. Therefore, its seems as there are two possibilities for this offensive indiscretion: 1. the staff of Billiken does not know their audience, and truly gentlemen that is a travesty, success will be short lived for those who do not make the effort to know those who support them. Or possibility 2. You gentlemen know your audience, but value your female readers so minimally that you find nothing objectionable about blatantly disrespecting their role as valuable members of society and not just "eye-candy".

In either case I find both possibilities for your course of action reviling and my enjoyment of Billiken will forever be tainted by the knowledge that my support as a dedicated reader of the Billiken is valued less than those of your male readers. To make an analogy that you might better understand, I once thought of Billiken as a conscious and edgy website, comparable in the rap world to ....I dunno shall we say Talib Kweli, but now after this article you seem to resonate on par with Ja Rule...Thanks for the disappointment fellas!

Sorry Boys --------------->>>HOLLA, HOLLA

"Yes, she's a rare, soft, supple candy that can be sucked on, but instead she will make you hard! "
OFFENSIVE!!

"'as a coach, I don't think I've ever messed up the saying 'take it hard to the rack' as many times as I did with Sue.' Daaaaaamn Geno!" ALSO OFFENSIVE!!!

"Blondes, brunettes, b-sides, boobs, beauties, bountiful bitches and now......" Rico, this is offensive too.

I am anonymous.
