Mike and the Mad Dog on the Mets highly touted prospect, 21-year old Lastings Milledge...
Mad Dog says,
"He better be going to church every Sunday with a cross that big, look at it, it's huge."
Mike says,
"Come on, it's too big swinging around it's gotta get in the way, slow him down."
Mad Dog: "You know Willy [Randolph] runs a pretty tight ship, I'm surprised he didn't tell Milledge to take that thing off, or tuck it in or something."
Mike says: "Ha Ha that thing was so big it probably would have come back out even if he had tucked it in."
Mad Dog: "Then he's gotta tape it to his chest or something for christsake."
Mike: "I guess let him wear what he wants as long as he produces on the field."
Mad Dog: "I dunno Mike, if you ask me it's too ostentatious."
